Architecture & Infrastructure

The platform is built around a central backend service supported by a dedicated job-scheduling layer that keeps product data, pricing, orders, and inventory synchronized across all connected systems. The infrastructure is containerized, designed for horizontal scaling, and monitored with real-time alerting for full operational visibility.

Platform Ecosystem

Webshop Frontend: A React based storefront delivering the complete shopping experience product browsing, cart, wishlist, and multi-language support.

E-commerce Backend: The central API powering the webshop product catalog, customer-specific pricing, and order management.

Integration Layer: A reliable synchronization layer connecting external sales channels, ERP, and product information systems, keeping business data consistent across the entire ecosystem.

Digital Asset Platform: A purpose built application for managing the company's complete product image library, with automated processing, deduplication, and secure internal APIs.

Transactional Mail Pipeline: A queue based email system ensuring reliable, high volume delivery of order confirmations and business communications.

The Challenge

Multi channel e-commerce requires connected systems, not isolated processes. Venture Design's operations span multiple platforms and markets, each with its own data models and technical constraints. As order volume and the product catalog grew, the platform required a foundation built for reliability, observability, and scale.

The Solution

We modernized the platform incrementally, without disrupting live operations. Critical processes were migrated to a resilient, queue-based architecture with automated recovery and monitoring, while performance-critical workloads were optimized for stability and efficiency. In parallel, we designed and delivered a dedicated digital asset management platform, replacing manual workflows with a scalable, API-first service.
